Our 4-night stay at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious, quiet, and had air conditioning. The staff were friendly and spoke great English. The evening meals were exceptional, with both set price and a-la-carte options. The hotel restaurant is well frequented by locals, a good sign of its quality. The location is perfect for exploring the wine-growing region of Gironde and easy access to the coast. Highly recommended to family and friends.
Can recommend this hotel.

sensational breakfast with pastries, good bread and french baguette with pastries-pain au chocolate for every taste. very very quiet and lovely location in a gorgeous square, and 15 minute walk from les antilles de jonzac. also - right by the castle, the centre of a pretty wee town and chateau and park.

This hotel was a perfect base for exploring the town. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. We loved having a top-notch restaurant on site, which was a real treat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Although the room was clean and comfortable, we did have a few minor issues. The lighting could have been better, making it a bit difficult to read in the evenings.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the fact that there were comfortable beds and the rooms were well-equipped with everything needed for a cozy night in. Also, the location was great within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and local sights. Additionally, the breakfast spread was alright, and I enjoyed the croissants and coffee.
My stay was far from perfect, and there were a few aspects that were a major letdown. Firstly, the entry system was a pain and gave a feeling of intrusion when coming back late. Secondly, the water temperature in the bathroom was inconsistent, and it was difficult to get a decent shower. Also, there was no reception in the hotel, so it was challenging to get assistance when needed. Finally, the lunch and dinner hours were ridiculous, making it frustrating to get food when needed.

The hotel's central location and nearby safe parking make it a convenient base to explore the town. Room 5 boasts a spacious and comfortable stay with a modern bathroom and walk-in shower. the staff is known to be friendly and welcoming, making for an enjoyable stay. Simple yet delicious breakfast includes French pastries and jams, along with a large coffee cup.
The internet connection can be unreliable and frustrating, and the staff's lack of concern when complained, dampens the experience.

We stayed at this charming hotel for four nights and were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and tranquility of our room. The view from the window was unique, overlooking a picturesque passageway and the rear terraces of neighboring houses. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional dinner we had at the hotel restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious meals every time. The breakfast, with French baguettes, pastries, and a large cup of coffee. The hotel's location in the heart of a beautiful Cognac town allowed us to easily explore the surrounding wine-growing region, as well as enjoy some beach time on the coast. this hotel provided us with a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to others.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the food at the hotel restaurant was exceptional, with a great range of options to choose from. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding wine-growing area and also for easy access to the nearby coast.
While there were very few negatives, one minor issue was that the hotel staff could have been a bit more friendly and attentive. Another downside was that the shower/bath in the room could benefit from a door or curtain for added privacy.
